Our Step-by-Step Process

Step 1.  Getting to Know YOU!
It all starts with an informational meeting between Ben and you.  By getting to know you, Ben will learn how you function on a daily basis.  What is your lifestyle?  Do you need lockers in the entry for the children?  Are the children grown?  Do you have any handicap accessibility needs?  How do you cook?  How do you clean?  What decorative style of home do you like?  Understanding your personal needs and lifestyle gives us a good start to designing your new home.  Seeing your vision is the most important part of the design process.


Step 2.  The Drawing Board
Ben goes to work designing a floor plan that will achieve your needs and fit your lifestyle.  This process is a series of meetings to review drafts and refine the details.  You have one on one interaction with the person that is actually designing your home instead of going through a third party draftsman.  Accurate and precise communication is key to getting your dreams on paper, and we are here to listen!  Our 3D design software makes visualizing the finished product much easier than looking at traditional blue prints.


Step 3.  The Bidding Process
We take your budget as seriously as you do and know what a bottom line is.  This is why we leave no stone unturned when it comes to putting together a total project cost for your home.  The price that you get at the beginning of the project will be the price you pay at the end of the project.  We don’t guess what your house might cost, we know.


Step 4.  Hammers and Nails
Once we have met your goals with design and price, you are able to see your dreams take form in real life.  With our daily on-site management we keep our sub-contractors on schedule and construction of your new home moving along smoothly.  With our sharp attention to detail we ensure that every facet of your home is built with enduring attractiveness and quality.


Step 5.  So Many Decisions
With so many decisions to be made during the building process it’s easy to become overwhelmed.  This is why we lay out a simple schedule for you to follow that gives you timelines for the decisions that need to be made.  This way you can take your time and be sure of your decisions.  No rush, no stress.  We will be there with you every step of the way.


Step 6.  Welcome Home!
From the foundation to finish our residential construction projects are typically built in 4-6 months.  Before you know it you will be getting the keys to your new home and can begin to truly enjoy your own custom home.


Step 7.  No worries
You can rest easy knowing that your new home comes with a 2-year warranty on all material manufacturing and installation, and that you are saving money with your Energy Star certified home.
